Secret Handshake
Purely original design and illustration on very comfortable cotton will make you stand out, look cool and feel fine. About ten illustrative artists contribute to making this fine source of apparel called Secret Handshake -one of the nicest out there. All tees are screened onto AA shirts and they sell for $24 a piece + s/h.
Beautiful Decay

Over at the Beautiful Decay Store they have a lot of nice tees for sale. Labels include I-Manifest, Johnny Cupcakes, Fresh Jive, Cryin Tiger and PlainGravy Apparel. Prices of tees start at about $13 and there are a lot of other goodies out there like books, vinyl toys, music magazines and what not.
Jeremy Prasatik
The work of designer Jeremy Prasatik is really something. Appart from other design gigs within print, web etc. Prasatik has designed t-shirts for the likes of Etnies, Soapbox Branding, TreFive and Split USA.
Teespotting

Somtimes while looking around for tees, I come accross items of which I have very little information if any. The shirts above are an example of this. I found them on this Thai site called Weeze, and all I could
find out was that they seem to sell for 250 baht a piece (which is about $7), and I myself think they look pretty nice. I really love ringered tees, and I am fond og the vintage tropicana theme. If you are decipher the language, you’re probably in for a treat. They look to be girly sizes, fittings and color.
I also came accross this lemur print on Flickr recently. Flickr usr idoru45 (kitfisto)’s is selling these tees for £15 + S&H if you want one.
The stuff they seem to be cooking up over at electricollant.tk is really nice handmade down and dirty cassette tape deck stuff. Not really much info here either though.
Bits and Pieces
It Seems thing are not going as well as planned over at Divine Clothing, as the release of their 2nd season is pushed back yet another week. The New stuff looks great though, and there is a little preview for you to the right.
According to Josh Rubin’s Cool Hunting, Threadless is having another $10 sale going, but it is not what you thing. The thing is; to get the discount you have to buy at least three items, and then enter the code: tenbucks20 at checkout. The sale lasts until February 25.
Red Army Surplus Company is about to release some new stuff this month. According to themselves they are moving over to more creative stuff this time, and I’ll probably have a preview for you shortly.
Red Army Surplus Co
Those crazy skateboarders over at Red Army Surplus Company are currently dropping a bunch of tees, longsleeves, hoodies and more at discounted prices. T-shirts start at about $10. They even have hoodies for under $30. A lot of nice designs there for both genders.
Fresh: Spring/Summer 2006
Summer is the season most commonly associated with the t-shirt. It may be because summer is usually also known as the part of the year with the most pleasant weather. It is also the best time for us who live in the cold to flash our collections.

It is February, and I am happy to see that it is this time of the year again. I am of course speaking of the time when a big part of the t-shirt designing world start rolling out their new stock for the spring/summer season, and I have to say there is some handsome cothes to be had out there…
- Italian label VNGRD have rolled out a rough look for the season. A lot of bright colors and a lot of graph style large tags and scribblings. They also have some references to computer games, architecture, and the timeless art of doodling.
- The new line from NYC’s sorta secretive Garbege™ has been inspired by the rockin’ 1920’s. From Al Capone, via the great escape of an unnamed illusionist to Hollywood Honeys.
- Rob Dobi’s label Fullbleed haven’t really produced a seperate seasonal line of shirts, but there is an unprecedented new pink design out there, and there is word that more will come.
- The S/S collection from +41, which we wrote about some time ago will be available at the end of February.
In other news… Ten bills, who ship out very nice tees for a mere $10 a piece have now started shipping internationally, and we are still waiting for the new Divine collection that was set to release the 1st.
Hello Roboto
Who doesn’t love hard industrial style prints and futuristic robot motifs? I know I do, and this is why I want to bring Mono Clothing to your attention. Out of Leicester, UK, these independant artists grace cotton with the most wonderful prints.

In addition to the printed t-shirts, they also sell some uniquie one of a kind ones, and they also have, sweatshirts, hats and accessoires; and make some awsome designed altoid-like tins.
They are currently having a sale, so all tees are £9.99 at the moment, not much to argue about there, innit?
Hecklewood Goes Street Level
If you are in Portland Oregon you’re in for a real treat. Due to popular demand, the guys at Hecklewood Apparel have found it fit to open their own retail space and design studio at this very location. Introducing the Hecklewood Boutique and Design Studio…

The Hecklewood Boutique is so much than a place of business. There is an ongoing exhibition there that opened a couple of weeks ago at the same time as the store. The curren
t exhibit features work by Seattle artist Nick Kamuda. And Hecklewood will feature a new artist every month.
An other great feature is their in-store refrigerator; stuffed to the rim with chilled Pabst, you will never have to go t-shopping on a dry throat again. This really made it for me. Here in Norway you would never get away with something like this, but it is this kind of thing that makes shopping worth doing. This and the wonderful apparel of course.
Let’s not forget the tees in all this. Hecklewood prints a great range of shirts with excellent designs. They are currently in the midst of designing their S/S 2006 line which will include some spanking new cut/sew garments as well as some top-secret new product. The new line is said to release in early March.
The store will also retail work by other selected designers like Hello Minor, Invicid, Shipley and Yoshimi, so if you are in the neighborhood, check out the store, have a beer and take in the sights.
If you were wondering where it is at, here is the street address: 2431 NW Thurman Street, Portland, OR 97210.

Ride the Rockett

For beer drinkin’ fist fightin’ and general misbehavin’ bastards Rockett is a great source of clothing. Their t-shirt designs are rockin’ yet contemporary, which I really love. Although they do not ship directly to Europe, there are other sources available. Did I mention that they also do hoodies, jackets, panties, accessoires and what not, for both guys and gals?
