TEEES

- a guide to short sleeves

Hot Stuff: Rockwell

I just came accross this piece of European t-shirtness…
Rockwell Clothing
These tees look really nice, they sell for 35€ a piece and they ship with free buttons. There are even a lot of colours and designs to choose from at Rockwell Clothing.

Airside

Airside
On the shop page of the magnificent british designs studio Airside there are a handful of nicely ilustrated t-shirts to be had. The imagery is solid vectory, and there are a couple there I do like.

These start at £4.99 and shipping is £ 4.00 UK/ £ 5.00 EU/ £ 8.50 WRLD

Bernos

BernosThe tiny t-shirt shop at Bernos are dedicated to bringing good quality Ehiopian-inspired t-shirt designs to the people. There are currently only three designs up on the site, but they are still interesting enough for a look. I do like the Bikila print.

The shirts are AA, and they go for US$16.99. Sizes range from XS to XL.

Summer Sale: Crowded Teeth

Don’t miss out on this chance to get some awsome threads on the cheap as Crowded Teeth are having a summer sale to work up funds for their upcoming fall/winter collection.
Crowded Teeth
A good portion of their designs are now cut by 38%, retailing at a mere $15 a tee. The shirt base is American Apparel, and there are pieces out there for both guys and girls. Among my personal favorites are the various pattern prints. I actually ordered the Teru Teru Bozu hoodie even though it is only available in women’s large, hoping it will pass as a guy’s small. I hope it works out.

Art on Apparel: Poketo

A lot of you have probably seen these. I thought we hade written about Poketo before, but it seems we have not…
Poketo
Seemingly screened onto AA shirts, the designs over at Poketo are top quality pieces. They feature a sturdy continuum thoughout their gear even if there are a lot of artists involved in the production.

The shirts are limited in numbers, and retail at the pleasent mark of $24 a piece. S&H seems to run sub $4. And if you are not spending all your cash on tees, be sure to have a look at their wallets.

Hands On: Monsieur T.

We recieved a really generous envelope packed with niceness from the excellent Monsieur T. yesterday. A tee each as well as stickers a magazine and lots of nice post cards.
Monsieur T
The tee was of the soft yet durable cotton we know American Apparel to manufacture by the most honest means in LA. Le Monsieur does the stock real justice by decorating it with the nicest of designs. Monsieur TI got the “I Love” design on the asphalt base colour. In addition to the nice large print which was skillfully printed, Monsieur T. had added a nice label in the neckline as well. It is also available on a college sweater for those of you living on the colder side of the sphere.

My companion also recieved her fix in their “Le French Survival Kit” which is currently on sale at a 40% discount, and it really rocks.

Thank you Quentin.

On The Steps at Oddica

May 19th is a day to put down in your calendar. This is the official launch date of what looks to become a really cool new t-shirt store.
Oddica
Managed from an artist oriented perspective, new kids on the block Oddica are a few days away from launching their full fury onto the world. They do so with a t-shirt sale of course, and if you don’t skimp on the numbers, or wait too long you’ll be able to get Luciously illustrated designs printed on American Apparel using sweet water based inks for a dinkly ten bucks each. Every shirt is said to be accompanied by some handsome goodies as well. I can’t wait to see what these guys have in store for us…

Hands on: Disturbia

Disturbia ClothingDisturbia Clothing
The nice folks over at Disturbia Clothing in the UK decided to hook me up with some of their cotton after the recent write-up about them. I even got to take my pick, and after much indecision I setteled for their awsome New Wave design printed on an inside out premium American Apparel shirt, which turned out to be quite the good idea. These shirts hold great quality, and I love the large size of my print. It went really well in cascades of my brand new possibly fake, ytterly ridiculous BAPE hoodie, which also arrived this tuseday afternoon. I took a snapshot in the mirror of them both.

Threadless Summer Sale: All for $10

Threadless SaleHere it is again. T-shirt giants Threadless are having one of their trademark ten dollar sales. Eeach tee in stock goes for the price of a $10 bill, so your summer is safe from unvoluntary nudity.

The sale is on until midnight of may 8th (CST) which is just about a week away, and this stuff tends to get ripped off the shelves pretty quickly, so hurry on ladies and gents…

Hey Disturbia

Did anyone catch that reference in the title?
Disturbia Clothing
I get a lot of emails from people pitching me new stuff. Some are good, some are bad and some I don’t even notice that much. Today I received a notice form the gentleman behind a most wondrous venue called Disturbia Clothing, and this one really struck me. Out of the United Kingdom Disturbia delivers something as rare as contemporary high quality designs within the field of punk rock aesthetics.
