Hey Disturbia
Did anyone catch that reference in the title?

I get a lot of emails from people pitching me new stuff. Some are good, some are bad and some I don’t even notice that much. Today I received a notice form the gentleman behind a most wondrous venue called Disturbia Clothing, and this one really struck me. Out of the United Kingdom Disturbia delivers something as rare as contemporary high quality designs within the field of punk rock aesthetics.

Destroy
I can’t believe this one slipped by me, but here it is nevertheless…

Mona Lisa, Ernest Hemmingway and Hunter S. Thompson are all covered in the current collectoin of t-shirt designs at Destroy Clothing (to bypass the site and go for the designs, go directly to the store). These collageish designs dig deep into the bowels of pop culture through decadence, decay and darkness. The New Word print is definately one of my favs of the site, and there is a lot of other goodness to choose from.
Shrits are $22.99 a piece, and they also make longsleeves, sweaters, hoodies jeans and what not. There are also a lot of sale items at $9.99, and be sure to check out these belt buckles, too. No word on quality or make, though. Shipping seems to be set to $5, but I don’t know if that covers every location. Checkout works through PayPal
Scribble Me This: Handsome Sausage

The hard core of Teees.com readers know what we think of doodle/ scribble/ sketch -styled apprel. That is right. We really love it. Handsome Sausage delivers these types of designs on good firm AA shirts. Their website is really strange and crypt-like in use, but I managed to gather this much:
Shirts are $20 and they accept payment through just about any means out there.
Jason Woodside: Aristic Tees
While strolling around through Bean Dip Cloting’s friends section (where we are also listed), I came accross two really nice tees on the store page of Jason Woodside’s site. These shirts sell for $20 in S to XL, and they are probably printed in limited runs.
My favorite is the “City Tee” design. There is actualy some graffiti near to where I live that looks a lot like this.
Goonism

I found this really nice design yesterday over at the Goonism site. This graffiti style design comes in three colour coordinates and in some size varieties. It sells for £23 which isn’t bad, and all transactions go through PayPal.
Soldierleisure

Here is a good alternative to the common branded logo/label t-shirts. The guys over at Soldierleisure do really nice self-logofied designs. Their colorful upside-down color burst crown pieces are definately something to consider. A twentyfiver for a tee, and a little more for the sleeveness. Transactions through PayPal.
Band Tees: Tennessee Beats
Our friends in the Tennessee Beats still have some left of both their tee designs in the merch section of their website. The jackalope tee is really nicely detailed, and they both ship with a free button. The price is 15€ / $17 / NOK 120, and that is including shipping. Transactions via PayPal.
As Seen at Seen
Inspired by Dancehall and Reggae music, out of Bavaria, Germany: Seen deliver solid designed tees. I love the way they seem to add detailing for that extra niceness. They limit the amounts to a maximum of 45 pcs per design and they sell for 22€ a piece. There are a handful of designs to choose from for both girls and boys.
Sub Edition: Accepting Submissions
Here is another UK based, user designs submission driven online t-shirt store. Sub Edition Ltd. uses a more democratic model of payment than a lot of other submission sites. They pay the designer £5 out of the retail price of £20 per shirt sold. There are a couple of nice ones up there already, and I can’t wait to see what may come in the future. Looking though submissions there were some nice designs waiting for rating (though there were some awful ones too).
All designs are screen printed by hand onto FL Super Premium shirts, so these should be good.
Beandip

This label has some really nice stuff up there. Designs tend to fill the shape of the shirts rather than sit on the middle of your chest. Beandip The handmake the products on order with water based inks on soft cotton. They retail tees at $18 and hoodies at $48. Accessoires are available, and shipping seems to be $2.50 in the US. No word on Int’l shipping though.
