TEEES

- a guide to short sleeves

News at Owl Movement

Hoot, hoot! The owl moves again!
Owl Movement
One of my favorite outfits Owl Movement have just rolled out four new tees and some printed pillows. Three of the tees even have owl illustrations printed on them. Everything at Owl movement is beautifully screened onto American Apparel stock for your wearing pleasure. They retail through a Merchline storefront for US$20 a piece.

Owl Movement Sale
It is not the largest discount in t-shirt retail history, but it is a decent chunk. All tees at Owl Movement, which is one of my very favorite setups are currently rolling out at a 2 for US$36 rate. For the slow ones that is US$18 a piece, which isn’t bad for this kind of quality. Note that shipping costs are not included.

Owl Movement: Four New

Good news! The long anticipated four new designs from Owl Movement are now available
Owl Movement
There are a lot of small t-shirt businesses around and about the internet, but not many are as quality oriented as the likes of the Florida based label called Owl Movement. They have just added four new shirt to their line of clothing, and these are no exception to the rule. The designs are done by Jon Burgerman, Skwak, Shawnimals and Cristopher Lee. If you know not of these click the links to educate yourselves.

It is hard to pick favorites among these designs but the Skwak design really stands out. There is a similar design by the same artist at Beautiful/Decay you might also want to check out. I do love the little ninjas on the Shawnimals tee, too.

As far as shirt and print quality is concerned my experiences is that you should be safe with the Owls. They print on the nicest of American Apparel’s stock, and the screening is really good. The shirts are $20 a piece and they ship through USPS.

Summer Sale: Crowded Teeth

Don’t miss out on this chance to get some awsome threads on the cheap as Crowded Teeth are having a summer sale to work up funds for their upcoming fall/winter collection.
Crowded Teeth
A good portion of their designs are now cut by 38%, retailing at a mere $15 a tee. The shirt base is American Apparel, and there are pieces out there for both guys and girls. Among my personal favorites are the various pattern prints. I actually ordered the Teru Teru Bozu hoodie even though it is only available in women’s large, hoping it will pass as a guy’s small. I hope it works out.

The Owl Moves Again

One of our favorite sources of the finest cotton with the sweetest prints is the wonderful Owl Movement.
Owl Movement
On May 26th they will be having their not so secret “Secret T-shirt Party” featuring exclusive tees by Jon Burgerman, Skwak, Shawnimals, and Christopher Lee. You know we like it. For those of you who wondered, the tees will be offered online at Owl Movement after the party, and also at Rotofugi.

As a footnote I would like to invite all of you to do as Owl Movement and be our friend at our rather ugly MySpace, if you are a user. Yes we jumped on the bandwagon…

News at Owl Movement

This is a good day for you t-shirt lovers, as Owl Movement has four spanking new designs in stock.

The designs are by Samuel Hernadez at Vector Fuel, C86 (who has also designed for Threadless and Monsieur T), 1988 and ooo000ooo.

Hands On: Owl Movement Tees

I recieved two fresh tees from Owl Movement this weekend, and I am really stoked.Owl Movement
The first one is named “Robots” and is designed by Huskworks, which is one of my favourite t-shirt design outfits. The design is screened with great precision onto an American Apparel shirt of the colour “asphalt”, which is a really nice colour. Huskworks don’t limit themselves to this label exclusively though, they also have designed shirts for Threadless, Busted Tees, Defunker in addition to the tees sold from their own website.

The second shirt is drawn by the Detroit based design studio Secret Pizza Party and is called “After Midnight”. This shirt has a mint green base, and I love the colour of this one too. Both the shirts have wonderfully balaced motifs and the fit is perfect. I’m not sure you can get as soft cotton from any other manufacturer. The AA shirts feel like velvet to the skin. Secret Pizza Party also has their own online store btw, and rumors have it that they love throwing parties.

Random Tees from Random Nicole

If you want t-shirts like no one elses you should check out Random Nicole. Here you’ll find tees with fun fabric details and prints, all in playful colors and patterns. They are around $60 each so they’re not cheap, but at least you know you won’t be seeing someone else with the same tee.

Owl Movement

Owl Movement

The other day I recieved an email from Patrick over at Owl Movement. Little did I know that this tiny t-shop would instantly become one of my favorites. The designs are just so nice, they are printed on AA’s, and they sell for $21 a piece. I couldn’t find out the shipping costs though. There are currently six shirt designs up for grabs from five different designers, and I actually like them all.

Patrick tells me that these limited edition Owl Movement tees are printed with a special kind of ink rendering them bright soft and colorful. An what is more; they cut out the tags and screen their own markings in the neckline.
