Divine: out of the box

Bill Pyle though his clothing company Divine Clothing has finally rolled out his new line. There is some nice stuff out there, and shirts are only $16 a go. Everything is hand screened in Deptford, NJ by the man himself. Still to come: one of a kind hoods and tees as well as handbags. All this and a new site.
Recon

For good clean simple urban wear you could allways have a look at the stock they carry over at Recon. Some of their stuff is really nice, and the tees are only $25 a shirt. They also stock a variety of other items like longsleeves, hats, polos and bags, and if you are at any of these locations they have stores in NYC, San Francisco and Tokyo, but you can allways get the stuff online, too.
New at Dadawan

Dadawan has released some new tees today, some of which look rather nice to my eyes. Go over there an check it out for yourself. They also have some new toys and stuff out there.
Fresh: Dadawan

Here is a sneak preview from French tee merchants Dadawan. The are set to release new material in March, and some of it looks to be within the theme of art nouveau meets Asia, while other stuff is more contemproary graphic design.
TAB Tees On Sale: 2 for 1

The Tokyo Art Beat tees are currently on sale at the discount rate of 2 for the price of 1, which apparently is ¥5000 + ¥1200 for shipping which amounts to about $50 for two shirts shipped. The hook is that all proceeds still go to Gadago, the non-profit organisation behind TAB, that “aims to offer platforms for inter-cultural exchanges around art and design”. via Jean Snow
Graniph, Japanese Excelence
This site is no less than overwhelming. Out of Tokyo, Japan, Graniph must have the largest collection of outsanding t-shirt designs I have ever seen. The shirts are beautifully covered with graphics and text, and the mere size of the place…
I haven’t really counted the stock, but I estimate they have within the neighborhood of 150 tees on their site, and I cannot say I saw anyting that was less than acceptable. The only problem for me must be the language, as I don’t speek Japanese. I have a friend who sorta does, though, so I might be contacting him for help ordering some of these, if they do ship internationally that is.
Shirts seem to be ¥2100 which calculates to about $18, and many of the tees have print on both sides, too.
Right Choice of Tee for the Occation
I came accross this one on the blog of our webhost. This girl is at a sushi resaurant is wearing a tee saying “got sushi?”. While her mates have already revieved their orders, she is still waiting. Coincidence?
New Imported Items at Dadawan
Dadawan has put out a wonderful new collection of imported teees by japanese illustrator Chichi/Visible Elephant 47. The pictures basically speak for themselves. They are quite expensive, but they look tres fantastique. There are also various other garmets there by the same designer.
