Hello Africa: LHOME

Kieran over at LHOME dropped me a line the other day, and I really urge you to look at this shit. I find the “African continent” tee to be somewhat delightful, don’t you. Here are some words straight from the head honcho:
In 2006 i started LHOME which at first was just my way of dumping out all all of my artistic urges into anything i could. I had a friend who was looking at some of my sketches and said if i put some on a tshirt he would buy one. Since then i did just that, refined my sketches and started selling shirts under LHOME. I began at spreadshirt where i got a good response so after about a month i decided to get some shirts printed myself and open my own website.
The tees retail from US$18 are 100% cotton and fitted.
Update: The code “0002030188” will get 20% off everything for the next 3 weeks.
News at Owl Movement
Regretfully due to personal issues and practical limitations this site has lacked updates for quite some while. We have however received a handful of shirt samples that are pending for review, and I’ll try to get these up there soon.

The guys over at Owl Movement in Tampa FL have just dropped their latest series of tees. These four shirts are printed on American Apparel stock and the “Great Moops Battle of ‘79″ design is even done on their tri-blend heather grey stock which is super soft and really nice. I have a couple of items from the owls in my closet, and they are really neatly printed and of superior quality. Get yours for a mere US$20 per tee.
Hecklewood

Check out new and discounted odds and ends from the premium apparel designers of Hecklewood of Portland Oregon. These guys come highly recommended.
Hands On: Fantastic Bonanza
We received these tees last week or something bu I haven’t got around to writing the review until now of one reason; The tees at Fantastic Bonanza have their designs printed with water based inks with no flash layer or such. This renders silky soft print that can only be sensed through the gift of sight. These tees need a round in the washer before the print really settles, and this is the reason for the delay.

The other cool thing about this print is that the base colour of the shirt bleeds trough the print giving i a nice organic look. The designs on these is just awesome, too. Just look at the details after the jump. The “Tooth Ache” shirt leaves me screaming for a root canal, and just check out the brilliantness of the “Birthday Party” one.
All tees are a handsome 15% off at Fan Bon until December 14th. This leaves the price at a mere US$17 a go.

HECKLEHOLIDAY…

…is the code you should enter at checkout. That is right! Sam and the guys knock off a handsome 15% off your bill, when ordering from the Hecklewood web storefront. The offer is only good until tomorrow though!
Still Going Ape

Smallish newcomer label Go Ape Shirts are really getting settled. They have just rolled out three new shirts, and their website is looking rather sharp. I think the “Pillow Fight Club” bit is fun, but sorta goofy and the “Amsterdam by Night” shirt by MAKI Ontwerp en Illustratie is looking fresh. The pick of this litter though is by far Olly Moss’ “Evolver” design based on the superior Beatles album Revolver. This is one of these designs that only comes along once in a blue Amsterdam moon. The Beatles meets Planet of the Apes. GO APE!
Shirts are US$18 on AA.
Moving Owl Movement

It is not the largest discount in t-shirt retail history, but it is a decent chunk. All tees at Owl Movement, which is one of my very favorite setups are currently rolling out at a 2 for US$36 rate. For the slow ones that is US$18 a piece, which isn’t bad for this kind of quality. Note that shipping costs are not included.
Bean Dippin’

Our friends over at Bean Dip Clothing have not been chillin’ on the lay side. In addition to their new designs and supplements to their artist connection tees Bean Dip have also done a transition to American apparel 50/50 tees for all their designs. They are even rockin’ the Karmaloop Kazbah, as a lot of other nice labels are these days. And check out that “dead president” print, as it is sweet as candy. All tees still come in a variety of colour options.
Beautiful/Decay Tees

Feast your eyeballs on these new all-over print collabs between Beautful/Decay Magazine and various designers. These desirable tees can be yours for US$29.95 a piece sans shipping.
New Store at Naive Clothing

The guys of Naive Clothing have put up a brand new store section on their site. There are some nice picks there, and I could really go for the Argyle print myself. It is most definitely one of the better ones out there these days. Another good thing about this label is their pricing which lingers at about 16 bucks US, and keeping in mind that they print on AA this is really good.
