TEEES

- a guide to short sleeves

Clear Cut Case

Clear Cut Case
I don’t really have much output for you about this German site called Clear Cut Case, since I don’t speak the language, but hrad on over and check out their collection of tees, longsleeves hoodies and track jackets. I think you might be pleased.

Pestol Packin’

These seem to be largely printed on AA, and did I say I am pleased to see such nice designs from so close to home?
Pestol
I have seen other Danish t-shirt labels out there before, but it has been a while since one has surfaced. The shirts from Pestol are willingly playful and have a nice comic book feel to them. The smoking new Hektor “Feelin’ Foggy” design is just awesome, and I love the “Hvad Jeg Er Lavet Af” (translates into “From What I Am Made”) tee. These buggers roll out for 39€, but there are other shirts in the mix from 16€ too.

Waterloo

You would think this to be a London-based label really, with the name and the imagery on the website, but Waterloo runs straight outta Buenos Aires in Argentina…
Waterloo
Digging into the pop culture of mainly the 1970s is no new thing to t-shirt designs. Waterloo does this with a keen eye, an updated sense and a subtle form of humour however. The results are rather successful, and I far on prefer these tees to a lot of the plain retro or re-issue designs out in the big pond today. Just look at the Clash piece. It works as an updated view on a good old classic mixing it with 1950s poster art and a 2000s overall whack.

I can’t find any info about the shirt stock used, but the geometrics give an indication of these being modern fit tees. They are available in girls and guys sizes, and even as tank tops in some cases. Prices are at US$24.95, and they ship more or less anywhere.

If you enter the coupon codeteees.comon checkout you’ll even receive a 10% discount.

Fisher Price Squeak Box Tee

Lafraise Boombox TeeI just spotted this piece over at LaFraise, and the funny thing is that I actually own one of those kid’s cassette players myself. It is actually sitting right here on my desk. Hook yerself up if you dig it. It i 22€ or 24€ as longsleeve.

Chateau Roux

Chateau Roux
Rolling out on their bespoke 50/50 cotton/modal stock Chateau Roux are giving you a break i mid-winter teedom as they release these two killer gold foil designs in black and white limited edition. Retailing at a semi-stiff £40 these should still be good value, as these tees are really nice from the get go.

Hand On: Swami Safari

I received this piece sometime last week, but due to illness and work I’ve not been able to do the writeup until today. This is a treat of a tee though…
Swami Safari

The Swami visits the World Tree Yggdrasil and is introduced to its many inhabitants. The World Tree supports the entire universe on its limbs, its roots gnawed at by the dragon Nidhoggr. The giant rooster Vidofnir is perched at the top of the tree. Both bird and dragon employ Ratatosk the squirrel to pass insults between themselves (and heaven and hell).

The shirt is smooth and soft in light and fine cotton with a slightly roomy neckline at the top. Inside the neckline the story behind the design is quoted together with the company logo.

The design is a nice large print black on the white soft tee base, and the print seems to be of good quality with little touch to it. The detailing is exceptional as you may see from the detail shots after the jump.

This is the first tee from Australian label Swami Safari, and if you like it stay tuned or even subscribe to their monthly teeliveries and receive a 10% discount. The shirt itself is AU$49 in Aussie and NZ, or US$45 to the rest of the world, shipping and taxes included. Payments go through paypal. More images after the jump…

Ichabods

Ichabods
in the mid US$20’s there are a fair amount of beautiful hand crafted tees available at Ichabod’s place. Out of New Orleans this social conscious t-shirt label print their produce on American Apparel shirts and then donate 10% of their net proceeds to a charity of your choice, as long as you choose one of the four good causes they support.

The have a lot of designs for both girls and boys, and the one that first caught my eye was the simplistically wonderful “Knives Out” design. What a looker

Second Place is The Winner

Second Place is The Winner
Not currently the largest retailer out there with a mere two designs in their bag, but the designs are sweet nevertheless. The tees from Second Place is The Winner are printed on AA, and are going for US$21 a piece. They also ship with a free sticker each.
