Big Fluff

The artsy hand printed shirts over at Big Fluff are really something to take a look at. Tee stock is ringspun and form Turkey and the USA. I have to say, I do love the “flies” print, and the “pick ‘n’ match” print looks really cool, too. I love the “nag nag nag” design too, but I think it looks best on a sweater really.
Tees run £ 29, while sweaters are a bit more.
Hands On: Monsieur T.
We recieved a really generous envelope packed with niceness from the excellent Monsieur T. yesterday. A tee each as well as stickers a magazine and lots of nice post cards.

The tee was of the soft yet durable cotton we know American Apparel to manufacture by the most honest means in LA. Le Monsieur does the stock real justice by decorating it with the nicest of designs.
I got the “I Love” design on the asphalt base colour. In addition to the nice large print which was skillfully printed, Monsieur T. had added a nice label in the neckline as well. It is also available on a college sweater for those of you living on the colder side of the sphere.
My companion also recieved her fix in their “Le French Survival Kit” which is currently on sale at a 40% discount, and it really rocks.
Thank you Quentin.
Go Ape
At one point Arizona was the largest producer of cotton in the USA. This state still houses some cotton vendors. Here is what might be one of the smallest, but still amongst the nicest.

Go Ape Shirts don’t really seem to be quite settled in yet, still they produce some mean t-shirt designs. Their creative team include Julian Glander, Owl Movement contributer Graphic Airlines and some guy called Dave Horowitz. Go Ape Shirts owner Josh has even done one design himself. The designs are in the realm of sparkling vector meets good old pencil, and they are printed on American Apparel stock at the reputable Mamooth Printshop.
Shirts ship out at $18 +4.50 s/h for the USA, and another $4 added for international orders.
Beautiful / Decay

I’ve been it touch with the people of the awsome underground culture magazine Beautiful/Decay. They have pointed me in the direction of the new additions to their shop, and more specificly in the mens clothing section wher they have some smashing new stuff of their own alongside an impressive gallery of tees from other outfits. Beautiful/Decay don’t do their own designing though, they hook up with the hottest names already out there. Their recent additions include designer names Sasha Lee, Saiman Chow, Aya Kato and last but never least Skwak.
These new tees are $29.95 a pop, and prices for the other stuff is around and about the sub $20 to $35 mark. Prepare for stuff form Cryinn’ Tiger, Johnny Cupcakes, I-Manifest and lots of others.
Fresh Bean Dip Designs

The nice people of Bean Dip Clothing have hooked up with a couple new faces in their Artist Connection collection. Matt Collins’ “Speaker Box” tee is available for guys in sizes S to XL, in 7 different colours at $18, and for the girls Mike Fretto’s first addition to Bean Dip’s line, the “Freedom” tee can be had in a variety of styles and sizes starting at $21.
Folded in Technicolor: Orisue

Large print shirts are everywhere these days, and aren’t we blessed for it? Orisue have also gone this way when designing their latest crop. These origami inspired pieces are something to consider. Multiple colours per design, and pop art meets eastern siplicity in western motifs. What more is the pop art styled portraits on famous historical figures from modern times. The Dali Lama, Albert Einstein and Malcom X are all represented.
There is no word on price range, but you will find a list of stickists here.
News for the Ladies at Brooklyn Ind.
Brooklyn Industries recently rolled out some fresh new wear for the urban rockin’ indie girls. The tees seem very nicely fitted, and come off more like tops in the images.
These start at about $20, and you get a $5 discount if you join their newsletter. They also have some nice stuff for the guys, so don’t be discouraged. Check out their one-off hoodies.
Threadless Summer Sale: All for $10
Here it is again. T-shirt giants Threadless are having one of their trademark ten dollar sales. Eeach tee in stock goes for the price of a $10 bill, so your summer is safe from unvoluntary nudity.
The sale is on until midnight of may 8th (CST) which is just about a week away, and this stuff tends to get ripped off the shelves pretty quickly, so hurry on ladies and gents…
New stuff at Sub Edition
Our friend over at Sub Edition have just got some relly nice new stuff up into their mix. They have also hooked onto the inevitable MySpace as we just have, so go on over there and hook up if you utilize their service. The tees are still £20 a pop. Be sure to check out and vote for your favorites amongst the submissions, too. There is some really good stuff there.
Hey Disturbia
Did anyone catch that reference in the title?

I get a lot of emails from people pitching me new stuff. Some are good, some are bad and some I don’t even notice that much. Today I received a notice form the gentleman behind a most wondrous venue called Disturbia Clothing, and this one really struck me. Out of the United Kingdom Disturbia delivers something as rare as contemporary high quality designs within the field of punk rock aesthetics.
