TEEES

- a guide to short sleeves

Bean Dippin’

Bean Dip Clothing
Our friends over at Bean Dip Clothing have not been chillin’ on the lay side. In addition to their new designs and supplements to their artist connection tees Bean Dip have also done a transition to American apparel 50/50 tees for all their designs. They are even rockin’ the Karmaloop Kazbah, as a lot of other nice labels are these days. And check out that “dead president” print, as it is sweet as candy. All tees still come in a variety of colour options.

threadless at $10

Threadless SaleBe sure to get your dig now if you are shopping new tees over at Threadless, cuz the stack is rolling out at US$10 a tee again.

Cotton Factory News

The Cotton Factory
The Cotton Factory are out with fresh produce once again. Nine tees in the whole. These bits cost no more than US$15, and my brother says these are A OK.

Monsieur T’s F/W 2006

Monsieur T
Although I am still very busy elsewhere these days I cant believe I never stitched you with these goodies off the fall/ winter rack at Monsieur T. These are some of the nicest pieces around theses days, all made by top notch designers, and playfully compiled. I know I’ve previewed these, but now you know they are out there at least.

Hecklewood Rides Again

Hecklewood
Brand spanking new stuff is set to appear in the Hecklewood store. Their new line looks none less than awesome, and Sammy and the guys have made a great bunch of wicked clothing once more continuing down their successful path of halftone illustrative designs. This stuff is truly cutting edge.

Oolong Tees: Artist Connection

Oolong Tees
Serving as a creative outlet for a bunch of young artists Oolong Tees is also quite the colourful clothing label. Printed on an Alternative Apparel base some of these tees are hot as hell. They are pretty laid back and relaxed design wise, but they seem very professional. My favorite of the pack is the Treebird design by Max Miceli, but the “Corndog” and “Cart” bits are not that shabby either. The price is right at US$15.

Do You Yackfou?

Yackfou
Straight outta the wonderful city of Berlin the t-shirt label Yackfou delivers some nice designs printed on AA stock. The shirts are crisp and have selectively placed designs which nicely wrap around the cotton. The selection in their store section is actually quite good, and there are variations for both guys and gals in different shapes and sizes. Their website is in German but is still quite understandable, and their t-shirts are price tagged at 29.99 Euros a piece.

Sideline: Jon Burgerman

Sideline - Jon Burgerman
UK t-shirt outfit Sideline is selling three designs by the terrific Jon Burgerman. These are quite sketch like and down toned, but still damned nice.

The tees are £24, US$40 or 40€ depending on which currency you choose.

Hands On: Monsieur T.

Yesterday I received an envelope in the mail containing the awesome Deactivated tee from Monsieur T. The print is really out there. The illustration is made by Ryan Berkley and is of these street kids leaving some graffiti on a huge deactivated robot. The print runs from the back right along the side and onto the front bottom right of the shirt. The detailing is good and the print quality is excellent.
Monsieur T

I don’t recognize the shirt type, but the material seems to be of similar quality to AA, even though the sizing is a bit looser and larger. The label states that the shirt is of pure cotton, is preshrunk and manufactured in the US. The shirt is currently on sale at US$21.25.

Along with the shirt Quentin even sent me some stickers and a button. He also dropped in their fall/ winter 2006 catalogue, and I can tell you right away that you are in for a treat. For more info on their upcoming stuff I urge you to have a look at this High Snobiety article or the Beautiful/Decay magazine issue P.

Crowded Teeth: Fall Preview

Crowded Teeth Preview
Be sure to check out this product chart featuring the fall collection of Michelle Romo’s Crowded Teeth. There are some truly kickin’ newcomers on there, not just tees either, but Hoodies, sweaters, knit mittens and what not?

I do love that Eat Crest a lot. Some of these are available for women only, others are for both genders. If it is anything as the last round these are printed on AA, priced moderately and done nicely.
