New Fright Rags

Fright Rags
Don’t miss out on the new horror prints from the very dark t-shirt tombs of Fright Rags. They are rolling out at US$15 a piece on pure black heavyweight preshrunk cotton. If you enter “FRIGHT30″ at checkout you will receive a slash of 30% off your order.

News at Disturbia

Disturbia
The shirts from Gateshead UK label Disturbia Clothing are some of my favorite through time. They are printed on AA stock and are hot and sweet. Evolving through punk rock to more pop art cartoonish prints their new line is none less than bitchin’ sweet.

Their shirts roll out at about £20, and be sure to check out what is on sale too. They have sizings for both males and females.

Waterloo

You would think this to be a London-based label really, with the name and the imagery on the website, but Waterloo runs straight outta Buenos Aires in Argentina…
Waterloo
Digging into the pop culture of mainly the 1970s is no new thing to t-shirt designs. Waterloo does this with a keen eye, an updated sense and a subtle form of humour however. The results are rather successful, and I far on prefer these tees to a lot of the plain retro or re-issue designs out in the big pond today. Just look at the Clash piece. It works as an updated view on a good old classic mixing it with 1950s poster art and a 2000s overall whack.

I can’t find any info about the shirt stock used, but the geometrics give an indication of these being modern fit tees. They are available in girls and guys sizes, and even as tank tops in some cases. Prices are at US$24.95, and they ship more or less anywhere.

If you enter the coupon codeteees.comon checkout you’ll even receive a 10% discount.

HECKLEHOLIDAY…

Hecklewood sale
…is the code you should enter at checkout. That is right! Sam and the guys knock off a handsome 15% off your bill, when ordering from the Hecklewood web storefront. The offer is only good until tomorrow though!

Chateau Roux: Ladies

Chateau Roux
Check out the new punk rock / new wave inspired ladies line over at UK label Chateau Roux. Have a look at our hands on review of their gear if you need more info.

Destroy

I can’t believe this one slipped by me, but here it is nevertheless…
Destroy Clothing
Mona Lisa, Ernest Hemmingway and Hunter S. Thompson are all covered in the current collectoin of t-shirt designs at Destroy Clothing (to bypass the site and go for the designs, go directly to the store). These collageish designs dig deep into the bowels of pop culture through decadence, decay and darkness. The New Word print is definately one of my favs of the site, and there is a lot of other goodness to choose from.

Shrits are $22.99 a piece, and they also make longsleeves, sweaters, hoodies jeans and what not. There are also a lot of sale items at $9.99, and be sure to check out these belt buckles, too. No word on quality or make, though. Shipping seems to be set to $5, but I don’t know if that covers every location. Checkout works through PayPal

Godfather Graffiti

Don Corleone
I know I seldom if ever do one-off reviews of tees, but I really love this shiny new order from our French Favorites at LaFraise. This optical illusion of the face of our dear departed godfather Don Vito Corleone in the figure of Marlon Brando is done entirely from common logos and scribbles. It is one of the nicest pieces around, and definitely the nicest I’ve seen from LaFraise in a while.

It is 22€ printed on American Apparel

Handmade Horror Tees?

I don’t do Italian, but I just had to hook you up with this entry i found at the Horrorlandia site. It looks to me to be a collection of wonderfully hand painted designs. I really love the Nosferatu image, and there actually is a Nosferatu print by Urban Arts at the ongoing Krudmart sale (see previos entry). This one is far nicer though

Anyway… Go have a look at the images, and if anyone has any more info, a translation or a thought, please leave a comment by pressing the spankingly new comment bubble to the right of the title above.

Old Apples: Nice Tees

Apple tee familyI found this image via flickr earlier today, and I must say I really like this tee. Although a mac user I am no fanatic, but I really love the design. I wonder why they trashed the colours? In any case the image itself is worth a look. It is from a 1983 apple store catalogue according to flickr usr and uploadr of image niallkennedy. And what a handsome family they are…

Apple TeeAnywoot… There is actually someone screenprinting the same 1979 design these days, a whopping six screen procedure for a mere $16 (to USA/CAN), and you get a $2 apple-nerd discount if you order via your Apple Newton. The shirts are available for a short period of time, or until apple’s lawyers find ‘em, so be quick.
