News at Disturbia

The shirts from Gateshead UK label Disturbia Clothing are some of my favorite through time. They are printed on AA stock and are hot and sweet. Evolving through punk rock to more pop art cartoonish prints their new line is none less than bitchin’ sweet.
Their shirts roll out at about £20, and be sure to check out what is on sale too. They have sizings for both males and females.
Beautiful/Decay Sale

All Some of the tees are now US$20 or less in the amazing Beautiful/Decay store. Be sure to browse through their vast catalogue of stock to see it they have something that tickles your fancy.
Tank Theory

Some nice and crazy stuff from Tank Theory. The art director, Zach Johnsen, says: “Our aesthetic is a bit on the brutal side. Everything we produce is slightly demented, unnerving, or outright scary.” In Germany, Austria and Switzerland available online at Clear Cut Case.
Diggin’ Trough the Closet

We have been at this for quite a while now, and it might be cumbersome to try to relocate a certain entry to the site from a while back. This is why we have incorporated a spiffy new archive for those of you wanting to go back and retrieve pearls from the past. Check it out at our Archive Page, which also has a permanent link at the top of this page.
Odds and Ends
Due to a recent system update there are some quirks to be worked out on our end. This will result in some oddness on our pages for a little while. I even broke the poll. The poll results for the question of tee quality vs print design vs ethics your answers were clear though: Style is king, screw ethics and shirt quality.
On an other note, check out the sales at these spots: Chateau Roux + Urban Retro
Beautiful Decay Stocks Freegums

The Beautiful/Decay Store recently stocked up on some of the wonderful reversible tees from Freegums of Miami USA. These are believed to be printed on AA stock and being printed on the inside and outside give you a 2 to 1 ratio on shirt design, saving space in your Ikea dresser. At about US$35 a tee you can do the math yourselves.
Clear Cut Case

I don’t really have much output for you about this German site called Clear Cut Case, since I don’t speak the language, but hrad on over and check out their collection of tees, longsleeves hoodies and track jackets. I think you might be pleased.
Pestol Packin’
These seem to be largely printed on AA, and did I say I am pleased to see such nice designs from so close to home?

I have seen other Danish t-shirt labels out there before, but it has been a while since one has surfaced. The shirts from Pestol are willingly playful and have a nice comic book feel to them. The smoking new Hektor “Feelin’ Foggy” design is just awesome, and I love the “Hvad Jeg Er Lavet Af” (translates into “From What I Am Made”) tee. These buggers roll out for 39€, but there are other shirts in the mix from 16€ too.
Waterloo
You would think this to be a London-based label really, with the name and the imagery on the website, but Waterloo runs straight outta Buenos Aires in Argentina…

Digging into the pop culture of mainly the 1970s is no new thing to t-shirt designs. Waterloo does this with a keen eye, an updated sense and a subtle form of humour however. The results are rather successful, and I far on prefer these tees to a lot of the plain retro or re-issue designs out in the big pond today. Just look at the Clash piece. It works as an updated view on a good old classic mixing it with 1950s poster art and a 2000s overall whack.
I can’t find any info about the shirt stock used, but the geometrics give an indication of these being modern fit tees. They are available in girls and guys sizes, and even as tank tops in some cases. Prices are at US$24.95, and they ship more or less anywhere.
If you enter the coupon code “teees.com” on checkout you’ll even receive a 10% discount.
Fisher Price Squeak Box Tee
I just spotted this piece over at LaFraise, and the funny thing is that I actually own one of those kid’s cassette players myself. It is actually sitting right here on my desk. Hook yerself up if you dig it. It i 22€ or 24€ as longsleeve.
