Hecklewood Rides Again: Spring/Summer 06
In a great span of shiny strong colours, Hecklewood Apparel have unleashed their spring/summer of 2006 wonders. The illustrations follow the path of the last collection, but have become more consistant and more filmatic/dramatic in their motifs. The colours are sharper and crisper and the printing is now done with far superior water based inks as opposed to the plastisol inks more commonly utillized.

That being said, I am actually sitting here wearing a tee form their previos line, and the print quality of this is really good indeed (some of the best I’ve seen), and I am excited to see what the new line looks like, when it is supposed to be even better. I guess those water based inks have a lot to say as regards to the feel of the stuff, too.

Back to the teees… I really love the two similarily themed “Escape” and “Mr. Rockmore” designs. There are also a couple of brand spanking new designs for the girls, including a nice 80’s type sleeveless zippered hoodie.
…and did I mention the 3D design accompanied by custom goggles? I am stoked.
If you’re in Portland (OR) be sure to check out their store, too…
